Professional Sectors

Logistics and transport professionals work across a wide variety of disciplines, modes and industry sectors. CILT delivers many services through our Professional Sectors by providing specialist activities and multi-sector engagement through their associated Forums and Policy Groups.

We currently support nine Professional Sectors and have over 30 special Forums, including opportunities for Young Professionals. Please download our latest Sector flyer detailing our contacts.

CILT Leading Edge is a new initiative offering valuable leadership insights to inspire the innovation that our professions need now, and in the future.

New ideas, and implementing the best ones, is at the heart of our professions and we will be incorporating Leading Edge thinking into many of our new programmes going forward.

Young Professionals

The Young Professionals Forum (YPF) exists to strengthen the appeal of the CILT(UK) to young professionals working in the logistics and transport sectors.

Public Policy Committee

The Public Policy Committee is an active player in the logistics and transport policy field making regular submissions on current issues to the UK Government, European Commission and other bodies, and publishes reports and papers which review current issues.
